The story of perfume chowk revolves around a poor neighbourhood an the lives of the various people residing therein. Kashif the protagonist of this serial, has the distraction of being the first ever MBA from his area. Despite this he has been looking for a job for a year, but with no luck. He is in love with Ruby the prettiest girl in the neighborhood, but so are all the others boys of the locality luckily, Ruby is also attracted to him and wants to marry him, but She has one condition that he should find himself a job first. There are also a host of very interesting characters living around these two who play important roles in the serial. There is mustaqeem the meat seller, Fareed who is a jack of all traders but committed to none, Yousuf bhai whose general store is the hub of all the going in the class Razai Khala who pokes her nose into everyone's' private affairs, and shabbir dada, Kashifold class fellow,who has earned in their lives.
